Job description

The main mission of the role is to create: custom automation frameworks, load generators, fault injectors, metrics analyzers, and visualization software; using primarily Python in conjunction with existing open-source solutions to execute tests of applications and analyze the results. Working on this position you should demonstrate a good understanding of computing systems and communications network, because you will be responsible for conducting load and stress testing. Moreover, working as a Team Lead Performance Test Engineer, you will collaborate with engineers and application developers to investigate system performance issues and test out solutions.

 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience with one or more UNIX scripting languages (e.g. Jython/Python/Bash).

• Advanced knowledge of Linux system administrator's tools.

• Advanced knowledge of system/application levels monitoring tools (eg. Zabbix/Ansible/Puppet/Jenkins).

• Teamwork skills.

• Very good written and verbal communication in English.

Additional requirements

• Load test tool experience (e.g. JMeter/Docker/Puppet).

• Monitoring and troubleshooting Java applications including analyzing garbage collection behavior.

• SQL and database performance.

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administration certification or experience.
